20-39 years old
If you are between the ages of 20-39 years old, it is recommended that your have an eye exam at least every 3-5 years. This will help keep a record and track your eye health at a young age.
40-64 years old
Once you get a little bit older, and are between the age of 40-64, you should get your eyes checked more frequently, or about every 2-4 years. This is when eyes will begin to lose health and important to check for early signs of eye diseases.
65 years old and older
When you reach the age of 65 years old, you should be getting eye exams almost every year. It is important to catch any eye problems early, and will help track your eyesight is in good health.
People with High Risks
If you are someone who is at higher risk of eye diseases such as diabetes, eye trauma, or your family has a history of glaucoma, you may need eye exams more frequently.
